This policy applies specifically to HappyDarkChess, also displayed as “Super Dark Chess,” developed and published by SunkeeperStudio (the “Game”).
The Game does not require an account. SunkeeperStudio does not actively collect or upload your name, email address, telephone number, contacts, precise location, photos, recordings, payment information, or other personal data through the Game.
When you select “Scan Host QR Code,” the Game requests camera permission to read a room QR code displayed on another device. The code contains a local-network connection address. Camera images are processed in real time only on your device and are not photographed, retained, or uploaded by the Game. You may deny or revoke camera permission and enter the host IP address manually instead.
When you use Wi-Fi multiplayer, the Game accesses your local network and directly transmits the host's local IP address, connection status, moves, and current game state between two devices on the same network. This data is used to establish and maintain the match and is not sent to servers operated by SunkeeperStudio. The connection uses an ordinary, separately unencrypted WebSocket over the local network; use this feature only on a trusted network and with a player you trust.
In the current version, matches and preferences are primarily processed on the device while the application is running. SunkeeperStudio does not provide cloud accounts, cloud storage, or cross-device synchronization. Clearing application data or uninstalling the Game may delete related data on the device.
The current version does not integrate third-party advertising, usage analytics, crash reporting, social sign-in, or in-app purchases. The Game uses the system camera and third-party open-source components to scan and display QR codes, but SunkeeperStudio does not receive camera images through them. Your operating system, app store, or network provider may process necessary device and network data under its own policy.
SunkeeperStudio does not sell or rent your personal data. Local multiplayer data is transmitted temporarily only between devices participating in the match and is processed by the connected players' devices. We do not disclose your data unless required by law, legal process, or a competent authority.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Parental or guardian guidance is recommended when a child uses the camera or local-network multiplayer features. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, contact us at the address below.
You may deny or revoke camera and local-network permissions, stop a Wi-Fi match, clear local data, or uninstall the Game. For questions about this policy or data security, email sunkeeperstudiolab@gmail.com.
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable right to lawfully download, install, and play the Game. Except where expressly permitted by law, you may not crack, cheat, reverse engineer, distribute modified versions, interfere with the Game or network connections, or violate the rights of others.
You may connect only to your own device or to a device whose player has agreed to the match. You may not use local-network features to probe, attack, or gain unauthorized access to other devices. You are responsible for ensuring that your network is trusted and that your use complies with its rules.
Unless otherwise stated, the Game's software, graphics, text, names, and other content belong to SunkeeperStudio or its licensors.
The Game is provided “AS IS.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee error-free operation, compatibility with every device, or uninterrupted local-network play, and we are not responsible for matches or local data lost because of device issues, network interruption, clearing data, or uninstallation.
We may update this policy when the Game's features, services, or applicable laws change. We will revise the last-updated date on this page.
